A Better Tomorrow
A virus spreads all around our green earth
Causing chaotic dread wherever it turns
It forces newborns to fear their own birth
Leaving anguish in it’s wake with concerns
Wretched, isolation leaves us alone
With apprehensions that make us feel doomed
Frowning our despondency with a groan
Leaving us alarms, knowing we’re consumed
If tomorrow brings sickness, there is love
Freeing us of thoughts that we’re deserted
The only ones to know God lives above
Our hearts, souls and minds have been converted
We all know illness will not destroy us
He answers hopes and prayers that we discuss
