A Blessing Always There
Dear Lord, You’ve blessed me so incredibly much
My life, heart, and mind You have undoubtedly touched.
Your hand I still hold, Your presence I feel
Forever at your feet I will joyfully kneel.
I don’t understand why You love me so much
But that’s what I hold onto, Your love I tightly clutch.
You love me so much that my side You won’t leave
For it is You and You only that I need.
You carried me through the stormy waves
And Your light guided me through the dark scary caves.
You whispered “keep going” when I wanted to give up
And You stayed by my side when I had had enough.
How can I repay You? My whole life I’ll give
I’m here at Your service as long as I live.
I love you so much with all my heart and soul
And to serve You is my purpose and life goal.
Your blood You shed, and for me You died
You’re my Father, Friend, and Guide.
And so for You, Your Word I won’t hide
In You all my thoughts I confide.
Thank You for such a wonderful night
And thank You for being my guiding light.
