A Confession
they are so beautiful.
pulling the guys eyes toward their tiny bodies,
and pretty faces, perfect make up and long straight hair.
But they don't look at me.
Next to them I feel like the ugly duckling.
I love my friends to death.,
but I just wish sometimes,
That my body wasn't all curves, but more slim.
and that my hair wasn't all curls and poof,
but flowing locks of brown, cascading down my back.
and that my skin wasn't so tan.
they all look at them, and never at me.
