A Dance In the Rain
A still air, a peaceful and gentle rain,
A summer evening, a girl that's insane.
Out of her room and into the street,
She dances in the rain, in her bare feet.
Her hair dripping wet, her dress clinging to her,
She spins and she sways, smelling of myre.
With the pigeons and the doves she plays,
She sings to the sky in her joyful haze.
There's only one who loves her, only one who cares,
He'll dance with her, he'll ignore the glares.
Though she'll never fully understand,
He'll always love her, he'll always hold her hand.
