A Few Special People
I know of a few special people whom I rarely see sad.
It seems the more they give away the more they have.
Even when they are in pain or their back is up against the wall, they are still full of joy.
They take every day as a present that it is and unwrap it as if it were a brand-new toy.
I know of a few special people who are very mild-mannered and have a great attitude.
They are always going out of their way to lend and hand and never are rude.
When things go south they take it with a grain of salt and never do they complain.
They give thanks in and out of season, even when at odds for their prayers nullify the pain.
These special people have an uncanny sense of knowing about them.
These people who have struggled in a trawling crowd, to reach out to touch His garment, are blessed to have touched just the hem.
I know of some special people who constantly pray all day long.
These are people whose hearts always carry a heavenly song.
These special people know there is so much more than these five senses can possibly detect.
These people are full of grace, loyalty, honor, love, and respect.
These people do not fret or worry; they do not hunger or thirst.
Simply because of their love of God, for they know that He loved us first.
