A Fool's Love
Will God, in all his grace, give me the chance?
Or will my words fall from my mouth, unheard
By all except for me, alone by choice?
I have to view time passed a test, for if
I saw the Lady, split with guts and gold,
At work, my soul would die, my mind would cease.
So fickle in her works of luck, with ease
She turns the tides of love and wars of old,
She toys with men until with grief they're stiff.
This jealousy aroused my darkest side.
I pray that God will let me be with her,
And also plead that friends of mine be spared.
