Love Poem: A Kind of Fear

A Kind of Fear

I fear not the woe in what is blue and true,
I fear not myself for that is treason.
See, petals close to seasons of loneliness,
And marriages chock for reasons of barrenness.

I have a box of dreams with only a few of mine
And the heart of a lass whose sun blinds.
There is so much to look in this world before these eyes can find
But this sort of fear I have, is one of its kind.

I fear not the moths of dark,
Or mosquitoes that sting my dreaming.
I fear not the trolls in my heart's cove,
I fear only that I love to love.
