A Letter To God
Dear God
I hope you are doing fine and not crying all the time.
Sometimes you are also smiling and have some fun.
We, as humans, don’t deserve your kindness and love.
But please have mercy on us.
You gave your son to die a brutal death.
And still, He said, “Father forgive them” with his last breath.
How painful it was to see your son,
Hanging on a cross for all the sins we had done.
Father, my father how could I forever repay you?
And yet, all you asked from me is to be faithful,
Love thy neighbor as you love me.
You gave me so much to be grateful for.
An immortal soul,
A mansion in your kingdom,
An abundant life of eternity,
How, could I be blind and not worship thee?
You are my first true love in heaven and on earth.
You know me before I was born.
You made me a daughter of royalty,
In a kingdom with no boundaries.
And all you ask from me is to love you.
I write to this letter to say thank you.
