A Love Song
I will always love you; I can’t help. . . it.
You came like sunshine- stunning the snow . . . my love.
You left; then snow had all melted away.
Oh, you’d fled from my sight; gone was my sweet ray.
Where have you gone? Oh, I miss you so much.
I can’t bear it.
Interlude music
I think of you and poems can blossom,
Still they need sunshine. It’s not the same . . . dear love.
Snow still can melt; flowers bloom. I don’t care.
For nothing I know takes the place of your touch.
Oh bring back your sunny smile.
Let me melt like the snow.
(I tried to match the lyrics to the piano notes that are high
and seem to carry the main melody)
