A Love's Confession
I can not give you less than me,
Except for the future, no more,
With a head so heavy now,
When I seem unlike myself
And so unsure of all that
I could not have seen
Beckoning to your open door...
I know there must be words to explain
But I cannot reach them anymore
Close enough to assemble a phrase
Sounding out like I did before.
Those feelings embedded in my poems
Trying to repair our wounds
Through a message that could endure...
I am he, I am he, your lover
For now and eternity
Since before us there are days
To gather each fruit of possibility
And coming closer to each other,
We will the nearer to heaven be
Beholding a beautiful sight
Of Love and Peace for always
Surrounding us with a holy light
And blessed forever after,
Together like we were meant to be.
Don't be afraid at all
And give Love and Peace a chance...
