A Mon Autre Moitie
From the glimmering stars of the night,
To the silent hymns the wind utters and sighs;
I wondered, I wondered,
When will my heart ever flutter?
To dream of the one whom I wish to see;
Short curly hair and a smile that sets you at ease,
A voice as cold as the evening breeze,
Yet adorned, craved, a lullaby that calms the seas.
À mon autre moitié, I want you to be you
For I despise the unacceptance of one's flaws.
I will cherish every moment, every bit of you.
Worry not my dear, for I will truly love you.
For you I have forsaken thy wish to live free.
I now lock the cage for two, and two birds only.
