Love Poem: A Place Called Sensuous

A Place Called Sensuous

A Place Called Sensuous

your body slipped upon me from the celestial
and stars fell from heaven
all around
in a bed of pixie dust

like a single teardrop on a dry cheek
your caress was to me, old man

our white hair reflected in the moonlight
like new snow, soft, sensuous, magic

your fingers played a symphony
between my thighs
to which I sang

you entered me and life renewed itself
my legs, a ribbon around you
your movement, pounding, seemed to ask
“Let me be in your womb, forever.”
I wanted to scream joy was complete

scream I did,
moan, cry, hold back
the desire to leave my mark on you
it hurt so good
even better and then

you christened me
your DNA in my blood
and you weren’t even breathless
my ancient lover

the sweat ripples between
my breasts smelled of English Leather
and I took your manhood with me

I know my darling you have had others
but our coupling was divine
we were and we will be
one flesh, one spirit
one carnal mind
