A Place In the Sun
My heart resides where sunlight rests
upon the streets of gold,
a place where God’s love comforts me
and winds are never cold.
There, on the streets, He lights my way
and every step, He guides.
He is the source of brilliant rays
as blazing horse he rides.
His arms reach out with warm embrace,
love flows in streams of light.
Bright eyes shine constant from His face
no darkness falls from night.
and as I walk my worldly path,
my beacon he shall be.
A light to shield from pain and wrath
and calm the stormy seas.
My praise shall rise with morning sun
and sing from vivid dreams.
My heart resides where Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit gleam!
