A Prayer 2
Lord, teach me to evaluate before I vacate
Teach me to value debate in trying to educate
Let not my sleep be a runaway ticket from reality
Teach me to treasure challenges in route to my destiny
Teach me to appreciate both roses and thorns in my pathway
Open my eyes, my ears, my heart, and my mind to you each day
One of the greatest lessons taught to me is the lesson from the tree
It amazes me how carbon dioxide goes into a tree and oxygen is released to me.
Enable me to release to others the love and forgiveness given to me by thee.
Lord, I'm grateful that it's really true that the best things in life are free.
