A Quiet Love
In a field of flowers you're the one
Who stands right out, I catch the sun
Reflecting off your pretty face
And onto mine, there is no space
That is too great to keep apart
This love I have that's in my heart
A love for you that no one sees
Invisible, unseen, like the breeze
Yet ever present like the tide
It searches for you far and wide
And when it finds you, day or night
Illuminated, clear and bright
Your face then shines washed in the beam
That comes from where I hope and dream
A romantic is just what I am
It's in my blood, my diagram
Is of a man, in hand a pen
Who writes you poems now and then
