tears and separation
made angels weep over the dead...

let's take away the tight chains of frustration,
how can anyone prosper in dire deprivation?
They must fly higher than the beautiful geese;
angels will be overjoyed with happy tears,
they will even dance around God's throne,
we will hear them from above-playing violins...
and they will fly down to earth to atone,
to share the glory we have not known.
A walk towards love can unify the entire Humanity
into one family where all can really love;
a walk towards love is the beginning of equality,
merry music will be sung in the holy grove!
Let's stop the anger that starts violent riots,
let angels share our joys, not our sorrows;
they cheer when people are saved, not slain;
they smile with tenderness and sing a refrain.
A walk towards love can stop the throwing of cold stone,
a walk towards love makes hope grow in a heart so alone;
dry every face and restore their faith in their lost dreams,
embrace them and give them the warm smile of hope...
a peaceful world is built on a love that doesn't set limits,
we can live free only when we don't try to hinder the scope.
