Addiction
its got me.
Caught up in
a bad scene,
controlling
my thoughts,
my words,
my actions.
So powerful, familiar security
solving my problems.
I'm escaping,
I'm dealing,
I'm living.
Yet it's draining me,
taking all I've got,
this craving,
this need,
this want.
Not so blind that
I can't see...
I'm suffering,
sacrificing,
and stealing.
Helpless with no where to turn...
I feel the burn.
You can say
no one knows what it's like
or how you feel
in the black of night.
Let me tell you
I know the feel
my addiction is real
only it's you
I crave
cause again
I've been left
alone in the night.
