Addiction

He didn't read the letters she sent; That fact was quite evident; The candles burned and sorrow churned; Once again she had been burned; Missing him days and nights; She writes and writes and writes her plight; Hope and pray there will come a day; When he will no longer stray away; She can't compete with endorphins rush; He wants and needs it way too much She holds on to what had been; He no longer cares a whim; Amphetamine is his true call; That was and is his biggest downfall; Life with him was once happy; Now it's hell without him clean; Jealous probing he is so untrue; makes her wonder who he's screwed; Accusing her day and night; Something isn't fitting right; The drug took his mind away; He won't believe she never strayed; Hoping he will see the light and turn back into Mr. Right
