Aged Willow
Beneath the willow's aged, gnarled embrace,
My lover sits in tranquil reverie,
A boy whose presence paints the tranquil space,
With dreams that dance like leaves upon the sea.
His eyes, like stars, illuminate the night,
As moonbeams weave a tapestry of grace,
His laughter, like a melody in flight,
Enchants the breeze, a soft and sweet embrace.
The willow weeps with tendrils long and wise,
Its branches cradle secrets that we share,
A sanctuary where our love defies
The passing seasons, lingering in the air.
Oh, how I think of him, my heart's own guide,
Beneath that aged willow, side by side.
