Along Comes a Flood
Along comes a flood of crimson emotions,
when an unexpected letter arrived in mail,
as if from far away in the precious past,
sang a rhapsody ~ my beloved Koel.
This simple letter made my heart throb and tremble,
not many ornamental words adorned the paper,
I could feel the concealed love and hidden pain,
the fervent soul-searching - layer after layer.
life was going on murmuring ...time elapsed,
for both, with lavender joy and lilac happiness,
experienced bitter days of grief and sorrows,
as well as bleak, gloomy, hollow loneliness.
this letter opened a flood of ebullient emotions,
a jade waterfall gushed downward embracing mountaintops,
ringing a bell of coral hopes and topaz longings,
telling ~ nothing treasured for us in this world had been lost!
My Friend, you stayed and weathered with me all the stormy nights,
Darling, you clasped my hands in yours when the winds were wild!
