And Once More When They Met
And once more when they met,
They felt, their heart beat uneasy,
Whilst flesh was on the melt,
Their arms were love-locked like daisy.
When time was to leave, felt:
Not all love can scale height dizzy,
That, life unfolds as by fate spelt—
Best left ‘lone if mind feels fuzzy.
And this fate, as ever busy,
Never once let them walk easy.

Poet’s note: The two here in this piece were in love for long, but had had their differences as well for long that always walked ahead of their love...
