And So It Begins
And so it begins with just a little tease,
Being her dear friend he invites her in.
Holding hands with a smile made of grin,
A fable of a boy and girl she imagines.
She likes the boy for his wit and smarts.
Spellbound he stays as she cogently talks
Being charmed by her lively blue eyes,
Eager for the hints of her subtle vibes.
Soon they know how to talk with eyes
Learning to decipher meaning of sighs.
Decoding as well when silence speaks
As fervent looks reveal contents of joy.
Exploring feelings, exchanging stories
Pleasure they find in secret messages,
Inventing excuses to be in private places--
Rejoicing pure love in stolen virgin kisses.
And so it begins innocently, unwittingly.
