And Then From Darkness Came the Light
And Then From Darkness Came The Light
When you have ate the burning sand
tasted the heart of grief and its pain
felt your soul, your heart reprimand
and newborn eyes beg more to see
a blind fury may in your spirit dwell
your life and your all falls into hell
know weeping tears may then relieve
aches birthed from lies meant to deceive.
When dawn and it glories do not appear
your days are dead, your nights full of fear
clock no longer ticks but instead bangs
you feel it, monster and its long fangs
food becomes just another sad chore
you know you're hurt yet beg for more
leave the shadows and embrace the Light
for nothing else can ever win the fight.
Each day starts to be better than the last
holds now bulge, your ship sails at full mast
give praise for mercy and heaven above
you are in the fold, that fits like a glove
inhaled into that sweet eternity and its glow
finally set to win and you then shall know
true peace in love, has thus been found
in heavens above not on earthen grounds!
