Back In the Light
Back in the Light
From the silhouette of silence
His screams will fill the air
Before the dawn of morning light
He's lost in darkness and unaware
He looks around but he can't see
If there's even anybody there
His laugh does not sound funny
When he's facing self despair
Then he realized that tomorrow
Will bring things he cannot bear
So the mountain made inside a man
Becomes a rock without a scare
If only he could find a friend
With the feelings he could share
But someone wise once told him that
This life won't treat him fair
And a heart that has been broken
Will never seem to be that rare
So he held on tight for so long
But those ropes begin to wear
A sudden bolt falls from the sky
And his glance becomes a stare
The voice of an angel whispers
And his heart has found repair
The flash of light helps you see
Just how much someone can care
When you wake up in the morning
You are half the perfect pair
