Banzai Ghazal She Laughed In My Eye
Banzai ghazal she laughed in my eye
One hurried night my tongue slipped on a banana peel
She thought I was faking it, and walked away
I asked for a reprieve, a meeting of the minds
She looked at me, puzzled as to why I was talking in the plural
It never got better, even though I saw her mocking our ecstasy in her poems
I laughed, I thought she was faking it
Oh baby I need you, like a flower stretches to the sun
I laughed at the fake orgasm
Most of it was my fault, I agree, so I extended an olive branch
She said she had better things to do
Then I offered coffee and a roll
She thought I was talking dirty
She must of thought I was aiming to get in her oven
She might have been right, only thing her oven was already in use
I now scratch my head as to where I went wrong
She scratches her's too as to where I went right
