Because You Taught Me
9 months i was inside you.
you were feeding me, warming me, trying to get me out to live
I open my eyes, im wondering where am i?!im living a life
You taught, you played with me when i was a child
you raised me, you cooked for me, you were taking two parts
My father was at work, you were always comforting me with a big heart
If i made a mistake, you taught me the right thing
If i lied, you take my silly lies and teach me to tell the truth
You never were wrong when you taked to me, your talk was always smooth
I was 5 when my eyes were bright on the candy bar
It was the first and the last time that i stole
You sent me with the money to go pay back the store
you punished me by these upset eyes
That made me swear to myself not to steal again
I became a good child then
I was 18 i was a trouble some girl
Illigaly smoking, drinking around the bars and clubs
Staying out all nights , knowing all names of the pubs
I barely went to classes, i was about not to graduate HighSchool
You went to my teachers, telling them my daughter will be fine
I graduated the school with your help, but i thought it was mine
I was 21 when i said i want to quit university
I wanted to do something else, makeup or fashion design
You stood by me, trying to solve my way, i was pushing you away from my line
I never realized how you worked hard for me mother but now i realized
Without you, I'm a theif, I'm a trouble some girl, I'm really bad
Thanks for bringing me to life and being my mother. I'm so glad
I never told you how grateful i'm to you
Let me say what is in my heart before it's too late
I love you mom and I'm sorry for all my stupid mistakes
I love life because you taught me so
