Betty Bug My Pet Duck
I had a pet duck and her name was Betty bug
,
she was all white and such a beautiful site.
Betty bug followed me all around my farm
I was only 6 then, but I thought of me as her mama
So each day before school I feed her food,
and I just made sure she came to no harm.
I love Betty bug and she was smart as a whip,
I did not have any brother or sisters to play with
So my pet Duck was it.
After school when I got home
betty bug and me played out side in the mud,
my silly duck like to jump real high
just to slash muddy water in my eyes.
I so happy my mommy gave this cute little duck
because with out her I would not of known such love.
