Birth of a Pheonix
When a pheonix dies
It is reborn in a form
feathered, calmed and stilled
Blazing and undestructive with its fill
Ashes arise, and blow into the wind
Swift as a fin
Until the spark starts again
Its flames burn away its own sin
Body is already dust
Inside a fire tempers and flakes off rust
Holy flames boil the temple....your body
Until purification begins its rush. Cleansing folly
What i speak of is not your bodies ressurction alone
But begins with your soul
With a fire unknown and untold
Until inside, finding a home
Flames come and they go
Blow out, flicker and moan
Unless love is found as a sheild
Tethering and kindling
Making a fort burning; nourishing me like a fruitful meal
For me it was one who sheilded my heart
And blessed my temple...my home and banished the dark
The moon is not hollow
Not mine
Her lunar light i shall follow,
until completely abalzed is my soul
Nevermore a place hollow
Thank you God
For this oily water i swallow
