When my heart beats
It pumps black ink
Flowing to my brain
Effecting how I think
I start to weep
Black tears of rage
A pool of darkness
Soaking my page
Your injected words
Have filled my veins
A heart colored black
Covered with stains
My life re-imagined
With love energized
The beat changes
New blood supplied
Color now returned
