Calm Down
Languages Blossom Like Flowers: A Whimsical Theory
In the tapestry of human existence, languages weave intricate patterns. They are the vibrant threads connecting us, allowing thoughts and emotions to flow across cultures and borders. But why do some places harbor a rich tapestry of languages, while others have only a few strands?
1. The Seeds of Diversity:
Imagine birds as linguistic gardeners, dropping seeds of communication across land and sea. These seeds sprout into languages, each with their unique melody.
In the poorest corners of our world, where life is a struggle, these linguistic seeds find fertile ground. People adapt, invent, and blend languages to survive and connect.
The pitch of bird songs, like cryptic codes, shapes these emerging languages. They flutter through the internet, carried by whispers and keystrokes.
2. The Birth of New Tongues:
Recently, I urged someone to calm down. But instead of thriving, they birthed a new language: “Stupidity vs. Reality.” A lexicon of contradictions, perhaps.
Can I blame myself? My black-and-white thinking, rigid as a mountain peak, keeps us stuck. Yet, like a bird landing on water, it makes me ponder.
When heavy planes ascend, they defy gravity. Do they carry our words, our hopes, our “it’s over” declarations? Some refuse to accept such finality, like yellow roses that seldom bloom.
