Can'T Have You In My Life
Hello, everyone! I AM Back!! I am so so SO sorry I have not been on PoetrySoup in forever, I really am but I have just not had any inspiration to write poetry but now, I do, and I'm writing more poems for my final book, THE EMOTIONS WITHIN ME: Saying Goodbye. Anyway, here is my newest poem, "Can't Have You in My Life", please enjoy!
After leaving me,
And crying pitiful tears,
Because you broke my heart;
You call me afterward,
Wondering how I'm doing.
Wondering if we will be okay.
We won't be alright,
We can't be friends after this,
And we never ended on good terms;
Because I'm crying.
I'm lonely without you here.
If you tried to stay in my life,
If you tried to be my friend,
After everything we've been through,
I'll continue my river of tears,
MY heart will continue to bleed.
So for now, respect my wishes,
Please, do not come back for me,
Do not try to make peace with me.
Do not come back into my life,
Until I am ready to see you again,
Until I am ready to forgive you,
And my heart is healed,
Until I can get over the pain,
I can't have you in my life...
