Cast a Long Shadow

CAST A LONG SHADOW

Moonbeam to cast a long shadow of us,
as we hugged and turned to single figure.
To make love, two lovers were too eager.
On ebon night stars sparkling on sky canvas.

A long shadow of us, Moonbeam to cast
Maroon Moon winks peeping through drifting cloud.
Neither storm nor thunder bolt was allowed.
Emotion to exult, dream to run fast.

We are loitering on quiet seashore
Two charmed hearts bubbled in amorous flow.
Dark shadow to follow: Bright Moon to glow.
Vibrant waves thrashing on beach in galore.

Faced Moon, shadow at back, oblivious.
Hand in hand, eyes to eyes, lovers are thrilled.
Quivering lips pressed with deep kiss: Love was sealed.
Moonbeam to cast a long shadow of us.
