Changes
Too many people are sick and dying;
So many families are upset and crying.
Violence has erupted and lives are devastated:
The world is filled with fear and hatred.
2021 is finally here:
We need to make some drastic changes this year.
It's time for unity, not division;
Show compassion instead of causing collision.
Stop the bullying and hurting each other:
In God's sight, we're ALL sisters and brothers.
But if we know the difference between right and wrong,
Why can't we just get along?
This senseless chaos must come to an end,
Or we'll continue to lose our families and friends.
We're in dire need of peace and love today:
Let's hope these changes will come our way.
