The meanness of the heart
The vanity of the mind
The arrogance of the ego
The preference to be blind
The ignorance, the pettiness
The choice to be a fool
The blatant insensitivity
Well, none of this is cool
For chosen blindness is the worst
The decision to ignore
Be it feelings, thoughts, or even facts
Is immature for sure
Maturity is humility
Humility is love
And love will conquer even strife
And all of the above
Competition, opposition
Disagreement, rivalry
Curb them all and you will notice
You will feel completely free.
