Chorus
Flakes scramble for one
Last breath as they
Plummet towards her face.
Glazing each cheek, puddling
Down to her lip.
Her shrieks shatter the
Clouds- spreading then
Disintegrating into the beams
Of light- crowing the aura,
Pushing through the gray.
Quivering legs radiate
Into the soil
Awaiting the final
Push into daylight.
Releasing out of her
Worn and weathered womb,
Melodies of swift willows and
Grazed petals intertwine down
Her veins migrating into the lonely soil.
Greeting each other with a warm smile,
And a soft kiss. The melodies make their
Home there, spread stretches of chords
Through the ground and rest.
Once they are settled in, they
Breath in our world, and
Ready themselves for the
Cavatina.
