Coming Back Home
Chugging away in the distant is mountain rail,
On and on its way to the town at the foothills,
Mind is set to get it tomorrow without fail,
I am returning home sweet, my heart with joy thrills!
Night is all I have to wait before journey home,
Glad to see the sunset as evening lights appear,
Boys are boisterous and loud as jugs of beer foam,
All dreaming of their beloved as day draws near,
Close to my heart I clasp a picture of my love,
Keen, keen to hold my darling in warm flesh and blood,
Her perfume I can smell her skin as smooth as dove,
Offerings of her juicy lips that match cheeks red,
My darling is soon to be mother of my son,
Eager am to go home as fast as I can run!
