“Forget injuries, never forget kindnesses.” Confucius
Confluence
Confluence of two loving hearts,
Confluence of two loving souls
In a day or two don`t depart,
But unite as one single whole.
They flow as one single river
Along the bed of harsh pebbles,
And in wintry cold don`t shiver
Or shake at the sign of struggles.
The consorted river of love
Does last for ever and ever
As the clean azure sky above,
As the sun`s and the stars` splendour.
Oblivious of all injuries
Sustained when crashing against rocks,
The river`s flow marks history
On the swings of eternal clocks;
It spreads kindness around its banks
As it meanders down its bed,
Nourishing what lies on its flanks,
Plants and fields with its water fed.
Confluence of two souls and hearts
Instills peace after a day`s strife,
Is a rare gem that stands apart
And confers rays of light in life.
The light from the confluence shines
As bright as flame that is divine,
Transcends the steel shackles of age
To attain a perennial stage.
The delicious vibes of its song
Just grow ever and ever strong
In the winter of dark despair
As in the spring of joy and care.
The sweetish scent of its perfume
Fills the air like roses in bloom,
Prevails on the law of reason
And triumphs over all seasons.
Confluence of two loving hearts,
Confluence of two loving souls
At their days` end merge as a whole,
And reach heaven never to part,
As rivers at end of their flow
Blend with the vast, blue ocean,
So two loving souls in heaven
Fuse to shine as a single show.
