Conviction came into my heart
Like lightning from on high
Have I strayed...I ask myself
Why has my heart grown cold?
Why do my feet stand afar off?
Revive me Lord
Restore me that I may live
The pangs of death pierce me
Like an arrow through my heart
I draw near with words
But my heart is distant
I'm carrying a burden
Too great to bear
I long to return
To the love I once had for You
My saviour...I long to love You more
