Creation's Mystery
“Creation’s mystery” sings my soul,
Majestic beauty do my eyes behold;
O how bright is thy soul,
Like glimmering light from winter’s snow;
How warm is thine heart,
Like a summer's day’s Rose filled park;
How placid is thy sweet smile,
Enthralling, simply benign;
How lovable is thine voice,
Soft and solemn, fills all voids;
How silky is thy hair,
Like strands of wool from clouds’ feathers;
How bright are thine eyes,
Twilight’s envy, the stars’ pride;
How beautiful is thy face,
Even Lilies do doubt their grace;
How perfect is thine form,
Shaped by God, and marveled by all;
How wonderful is thine skin,
A tone of gold like sunlight’s sting;
And so quite vividly my heart thaws,
Above and betwixt thy love’s walls.
Thine nature, above beauty, indeed does belong;
Creation’s mystery, eternally, my soul shall adore.
