Crimson Ink
you CAPTIVATE me with your excellence-
even inside my misguided muse I seek you
out of f o r s a k e n memories.
I fear the kismet I carry with ease-
for it RESOUNDS in an aria of vexed discovery
and a f f l i c t e d breakthrough.
I sought you during my terminal epoch-
and yet,
the cancer I carried still allowed me to bear
your burden.
the stars envy you, love, as I uncover your
ivory glazed moon.
I still ache for heaven’s breath to anoint me in
your tenderness exploring the possibilities of
the freedom we used to wear like mounted
eagles perched upon the highest pine.
for you are my wound that WON'T heal leaving
a scar of crimson ink b l e e d i n g just to touch
you...
ONCE AGAIN.
