Crying Crimson Tears
Can't break the pain,
Can't fix the heart.
Can't do much,
Since our depart.
Crying crimson tears,
That won't go away.
They gather,
Like the never ending pain.
Can't bring myself to your door,
Even though,
You told me so.
I turn around,
From the front step,
Of the snow white house,
I know so well.
Return home trip,
To my empty room.
I lay down to sleep,
Unaware of your watching gaze.
It doesn't stop the pain.
You tell me you forgave,
But it was too late.
I slipped away,
Under that watchful gaze.
Those crimson tears,
Leave thick red streaks,
Upon both our cheeks.
You wipe mine away,
But to your dismay,
I've already slipped away.
You lay down close,
Cuddled next to me,
And force yourself,
Into your own,
Never ending sleep.
All because I didn't hear,
The one set of words,
My ears yearned to grasp.
"Come back to me,
My baby, Calie.
Didn't you hear?
I forgive you.
Stop crying those crimson tears,
Or I'll have to die,
By your side,
Just to prove,
That I'm in love with you."
