Dear Soulmate
Some days, I sit and imagine what you look like
I can almost feel your energy
I know you brighten each room you enter
You are the type to be felt before you are seen
Someone everyone adores and remembers
This is an image of you I hold in my dreams
You smell like heaven, and your ambiance grows little flowers that tower over toes, almost touching knees
Your warmth and comfort easily replicate the same feeling I get when wrapped in clean linens in front of a toasty fireplace
When all parts of me are at peace
I can almost feel your breath when I am tucked into thoughts of you, by you
Just to get lost in my dreams about you, next to you
I picture your eyes when I close mine
It's like catching a glorious sunrise
I feel the energy from your bright light
Your arms are a safe house when my insides feel compromised
Your existence, even if not here, brings me a sort of comfort knowing you could be somewhere near
Also, my favorite colors are gray, brown, teal, and tan
It's kind of an odd choice of colors
but I’m actually pretty fond of them
I like my coffee with cream and just a little sweet
But I’ll take a side of you any day as my personal treat
You probably taste like frosting; sugary sweet, which I typically don’t eat Though in this case I’d never let a good thing go to waste
I prefer spicy over sweet, but I’m sure you feel the heat when you think of thoughts about me
Well, about your soulmate i.e. me
