Divine Romance
Heart seeks more, though we keep no score;
burning yearning seeks an encore,
since trough follows crest, there’s no rest,
in acting at ego’s behest.
The joy that does not come and go,
imbibed by heart in stillness slow,
entwines all nodes, from root to crown,
stream of nectar, in which we drown.
Pheromones tingle and mingle;
jingle making our eye single,
at play within, through night and day,
as to bliss beats we gently sway.
Fears and desires are all exhumed;
by breath, ignition is resumed,
rapture unending, soul’s delight,
cascades thus within, day and night.

Notes:
‘Root’ alludes to the Muladhara chakra, near the base of spine, the divine feminine’s (Shakti’s) abode.
‘Crown’ refers to the Sahasrara chakra, on top of head, where the male polarity (Shiva) waits for Shakti.
‘Single eye’ is our third eye or spiritual eye, located between the eyebrows (Ajna chakra).
Shakti rises from root to crown, flowing in a stream soma nectar, propelled by love. She needs to overcome many obstacles (ego spawned desires, fears, beliefs) during the journey.
Once united, Shiva and Shakti merge, descending together as one into the cave of our heart (Anahata chakra), where divine union is culminated, resulting in an explosion of thunderous bliss, which pervades each cell of form, even as the ignition renewal continues unabated, gripping mind-body vessel in rapture unending ~ bliss in permanence.
We, as indivisible from singular God-consciousness, are both aspects of the polarities, kinetic energy being Shakti and potential energy being Shiva. The game of union and separation, of concealing and revealing, is the enigmatic dance of life at play, obstructed by ego, which is ultimately annihilated.
