DO LOST SHELLS LAST?
In the petals of the mountain rose, love bloomed,
For one afar, whose sight remained so blind.
Through whispers of the soul, in silent rooms,
Your breeze would touch my skin, a gentle find.
Glances and stares, though frequent, left me unseen,
Within the depths of your soul, forgotten, lost.
Emotions, like frail twigs, hold memories keen,
As your presence fades, I gather the cost.
Bright skies once mirrored your moon's soft embrace,
But now, in void of sun, I'm left to pine.
Stars align above, each one in its place,
Yet every cosmos echoes your name, entwined.
Castles, built in dreams, washed away by sea,
Each glimpse of you shatters my heart anew.
In shadows, I wander, seeking to be free,
But grasping for your hand, I find naught but rue.
