Drowning In Doubt
She constantly doubts and is always unsure of herself
Saying evil could be anywhere, but that doesn’t mean it’s everywhere
I tell her if she doubts everything before even giving it a chance you will put yourself in an unsuccessful sadistic trance
Where you’ll never know what you’re missing or what would have been
She says I know but always follows with a “what if” at the end
She wants the future to be certain like a false reading from the palm of her hand
False meaning the fairy tale ending that never began
You have to make your own story; no one can write it for you
But if you let them borrow the pencil expect the pen
Because they’ll write you a permanent horror story that never ends
So don’t focus so much on the end because when you do you’ll never see it in person
It will only be a shadow always there but behind you
Ideas doubted in the back of your mind so your future will never be in front of your own eyes.
P.S. leave your shadow behind along with the ideas of the world...
