Each Other
Standing by the candle he reaches for her hand,
He was the only man who would ever understand.
She caught stars and rustled up to her teddy at night and in the morning her eyes sparkled in delight. For no matter what end was in sight she was ready to fight for what she knew to be right. He loved her forever and would never leave her alone, for there’d never be another better to build a home. She’d never been shown such a true romance indeed, and low and behold he enhanced her intrigue. She took a chance to see if they’d last through the year and after three more she shed a tiny tear. Her fear became clear…it was...if he was never near. Without the trust and compassion there’d never be a baby girl, and after much confession she became their whole world. Big brown eyes and a curl down the back, living in a town through the rail road tracks. Each day filled with entertainment and pleasure, all the ways of attainment through fancy treasures and remnants of elation forever. Standing side by side holding generous hands with plans pride to unfold for their beautiful ten year old. Content in the morning and prayers every night with extent warming without despair and fright, with sweet dreams in sight, and the Lord as their Light….
Standing by the candle he reaches for her hand.
He was the only man who would ever understand.
