Eclipse Reality
When confronted with lost love,
emotions morph into tears.
And fragmented fantasies
fuel imagination.
Mourning innocence's demise,
you reevaluate trust.
And take stock of spent wishes
left at the fringes of youth.
Passion's promise echoes
deep within your lonely heart.
Yet, the illusion of love
can't eclipse reality.
