Empathy
Capturing inner feelings with the camera of heart,
Empathy gifts child-like internal and external start;
Placing one's self into the shoes of the very victim,
Empathy feels one with the sufferer with love dictum...!
There's no tinge of pity in it; there’s just fraternal love;
As though, in thoughts and words and deeds, graces flow from above;
Treating others as one likes to be treated - is the norm,
With internal warmth, it makes the sufferer, brave the storm...!
Concern, in empathy, like nectar in bloom, is innate,
Sensitivity toward the troubled is never late;
Gestures of heartening, in empathy, as cool streams flow,
Soul connection makes the lost, like gold in the sunshine, glow...!
Empathy does not lose heart when, the helped, does not respond,
It does not stop till it establishes a friendly bond;
Till the person in prison of pain, like a parrot fly,
Empathy goes on relentlessly, showing the bright sky...!!!
