Love Poem: Falling Again

Falling Again

Out of the cold,
in blew the rain
After a kiss goodbye,
the lonely teardrops came
a-falling ... falling

Another frozen tv dinner date,
and a RomCom
bittersweet, cable treat awaits

Enchantress on the silver screen
is beckoning,
pillow softly,
in your moonlight glow dreams

Seems all vow hope
has fallen asleep heart empty
And the tears
are starting to twilight fall
once again

Oh no ... oh, oh
Oh oh oh oh oh
not again
Those lonely teardrops
are a-falling

Leaves you wondering,
when will the pulse projector
change the scene
With a flip of the fate switch,
life becomes peachy keen

On a park bench daydream,
comes a beauty in a blue dress
tigress walking
It’s got your deer thoughts
prey hoping
Praying that she stop
and take notice
Of how long it’s been

Her sunshine smile
waves a friendly hello
And you feel the winds of change
starting to warmly blow

Over time, with rainbow charm,
she takes you in her gentle arms
To caress away the crying pain,
so that the tears would stop
a-falling ... falling

Now, on the treadmill again —
Running from old, sad memories
into the bosom embrace
of a rare exotica new friend
Romantic notions are starry-eye
a-twinkling

As tears of joy
begin
to freely fall
once again

Oh no ... oh, oh
Oh oh oh oh oh
not again
Those tender teardrops
are a-falling ... falling
Falling again

Looks like you’re smitten,
and falling ...
	once again
