Father Have Mercy
Provoked there by his evil
He simply stood, he stood his ground
Malicious thoughts, no worldly offers
Could drop his knees down to the ground
Whatever could have happened
That made him such an evil soul
So he began to pray
Father have mercy on his soul
Gazing out toward the land
Imagined all the sins were nails
He began to feel them strike
First, at his feet, then hands so frail
It was his greatest offering
And he would do it all again
For this one soul, and all lost souls
He'd bear the nails until the end
